Erica Cerra is a Canadian actress who was born on October 31, 1979. She's best known as the lead actress on Eureka the Syfy show. Cerra is the daughter of Italian parents in Vancouver British Columbia. Cerra had a fascination with acting as early as eight years old. She appeared in numerous commercials as she first started. Her acting career was interrupted during a period of time. But, in 2001 she came back in the business at age 22 years old. Vancouver Lifestyles Magazine named her among the top Vancouver's young actresses of 2005. Cerra was deputy Jo Lupo, in Eureka. The Syfy show aired on television between the years 2006 and 2012. Cerra also starred in the Michael Buble video Save the Last Dance for Me in 2006. Cerra was recognized for her role in a variety of highly-acclaimed and well-known television shows such as Battlestar Galactica or The L Word. The credits on her film include Blade:Trinity featuring Wesley Snipes and Ben Affleck in the lead role, as well as Man About Town. Cerras appearance and body were used as the model for the character of Ashley Williams in the Mass Effect franchise that includes video games. Khondabi said that when she graduated from university, her first job was as a television reporter working for WAGT. Khondabi told her that she worked in television news for around six years. In the months following Augusta I worked anchoring WOWK at Charleston West Virginia and then Columbus Ohio.
