Anna Silk

Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is a Canadian actress best known for her role as Bo from the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk is born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk was the child of Peter Silk, a professor and Peter Silk, who was a well-known actor, director, producer, playwright, educator, and Director of Drama, St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her mom watching while at work, and also attending the rehearsals for her plays. Silk was the subject of several commercials while she was still a kid. She was in 1997 when she graduated with a bachelor's degree from St. Thomas University. The early stage work she did included at least two shows with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved to Toronto in Canada, which was the beginning of November of 1999. She then moved in Los Angeles California during the following decade. Seth Cooperman was her future husband when she saw him in 2007 during the Actors' Workshop held in Los Angeles. They got engaged in 2009, and they were married in civil ceremonies in was held in December. They renewed their vows April 10th, 2011 in Fredericton, after the woman converted to Judaism. Silk got a baby that was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13 2013. Levi Aaron, her second daughter was born on the 13th of May in 2016. Silk's TV appearances include the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica and she won the Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. As of 2009, Silk was hired as Bo Dennis, the main character Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk fell pregnant during the production of the final season episode. The news was announced for fans in the Showcase pre-show Season Three special on January 6th, 2013. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20, 2013 that she was ready to return to working. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially made the announcement of the commencement of fourth season's production. CNN recognized Bo's character with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most popular television couples of all time. E! Magazine also classified it as the top TV couple of 2013.
