Annet Mahendru
Mahendru is a mother of Russian origin who is born in Afghanistan. Mahendru is fluent in German Russian English, French Persian as well Hindi. Annet Mahendru is the daughter of an Indian father, and a Russian mom. In her early teens, she choreographed an act that earned her a slot on German television as a beautiful Russian snow maiden, who turns into a playful Indian dancer. She finished high school at the age of 11 in New York and received a Bachelor of Arts in English at St. John's University. Following school, she began acting classes in the HB Studio, but she quit to pursue improvisation classes at The Groundlings School taking on several comedy projects thereafter. Her parents were the mother of an Afghani Hindu-Indian and Russian father, who lived in Kabul, Afghanistan. The family moved to East Meadow New York, along with her father, when she was 13, and is now starring alongside Matthew Rhys and Keri Russel on FX's The Americans. Television actress who is best known for her role as the former KGB Agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova on FX's The Americans. She played a recurring character on Fox's The Following, and NBC's The Blacklist.
